We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Representative to spearhead our sales activities in the Chinese market. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing the company’s sales plan and expanding our clients base in China.

Responsibilities:

The Sales Representative will be responsible for the following:

  • Identify, approach, and compile a database of potential Clients (businesses in China with translation needs) through various channels such as phone calls, emails, WeChat, Weibo, seminars, and fairs.
  • Serve inbound leads from MKT activities, qualify their needs, and guide them through the sales process.
  • Cultivate and maintain long-term relationships with clients to ensure client return rates
  • Collaborate with the other team to devise and execute a strategic plan for expanding the Chinese market.
  • Collaborate with the Production team to implement projects from clients.
  • Undertake other related tasks as required to support sales and business development efforts in the Chinese market.
Requirements:
  • Native Chinese
  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in the translation and localization industry.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with proficiency in English
  • Excellent understanding of the Chinese market and business landscape.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Possess some sales characteristics: Perseverance; Coachability (the ability to absorb and apply coaching), Curious (the ability to understand a potential customer’s context through effective questioning and listening) & Work ethic (proactively pursuing the company mission with a high degree of energy and daily activity)
